| The third China International Finance Forum (CIFF 2006) will be held on September 1-2 in Shanghai Pudong. |
The year 2006 is an important year of China's financial industries development. The full open of China's financical industries will be completed at the end of the year. The theme of the forum is "Financial nnovation
and financial service after full open” After the successfully holding of the first China International Finance Forum in November 2004 and the second China International Finance Forum in Shanghai, the third China International Finance Forum, which is sponsored by Finance Research Institute of Development Research Center of State Council P.R. China and Institute of China Economic Forum, undertaken by WorldCN International Events, will be grandly held on September 2-3 in Shanghai. This forum would invite Chinese government officials of the National Development and Reform Commission、Ministry of Finance、Ministry
of Commerce、the People’s Bank of China、State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission、Development and Research Center of the State Council、China Banking Regulatory
Commission、China Securities Regulatory Commission、China Insurance Regulatory Commission,Shanghai Municipal People’s Government,Nobel laureates in economics and other noted economists

Mr. Martin Wheatley, President of Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission will present and make a speech. The topic is "How to Develop Cooperation with Hong Kong and the Mainland China".
The theme of the forum is "Financial innovation and service after full open". The forum is sponsored by Finance Research Institute of Development Research Center of State Council P.R. China and Institute of China Economic Forum, undertaken by WorldCN International Events.
Mr. Martin Wheatley was first appointed Executive Director, Supervision of Markets, on 6 June 2005, and then appointed Chairman of Hongkong Securities and Futures Commission, for 3 years, by Mr. Donald Tsang, Chief Executive of Hong Kong SAR. Prior to joining the SFC, Mr. Wheatley had been with the London Stock Exchange (LSE) for over 18 years in various positions, with his last position being member of the board for 6 years, and then assumed the office of the deputy administrative President. He was also Chairman of the FTSE International and sat on the Listing Authority Advisory Committee of the Financial Services Authority of England.
